Xedine HA 1mg/ml nasal spray 10 ml

Xedine HA nasal spray is a medication that relieves runny nose and nasal congestion. Its active ingredient is xylometazoline hydrochloride. The medication begins to work within 5 to 10 minutes and lasts for up to 10 hours. The spray also moisturizes the nasal mucosa. Xedine HA can be used by children over 12 years of age and adults. Indications

Xedine HA constricts blood vessels, reducing swelling in the nasal mucosa, making breathing easier and reducing runny nose. The medication begins to work within 5 to 10 minutes and lasts for 10 hours. Xedine HA also moisturizes the nasal mucosa because it contains hyaluronic acid.
Xedine HA is used for the symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion caused by nasal inflammation or sinusitis.



Dosage:


Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult a doctor or pharmacist.


The spray should be administered nasally. The dosage of Xedine HA depends on the patient's individual sensitivity. Before applying the medicine, clean the nose. The recommended dosage for adolescents over 12 years of age and adults is 1 spray in each nostril up to 3 times daily. Do not use the medicine for longer than 5 days. If after 3 days of treatment there is no improvement or the patient feels worse, consult a doctor. Before restarting treatment with the spray, a break of several days should be observed. To prevent the spread of infection, 1 pack should be used by 1 person.




Composition:


The active substance is xylometazoline hydrochloride.


1 dose (140 µl of solution) contains 0.140 mg of xylometazoline.


Excipients: purified sea water, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium hyaluronate, purified water.
