Vitaprompt® injekt B12 

Active ingredient: Cyanocobalamin. Composition: 1 ampoule of 1 ml contains 1000 µg cyanocobalamin.  Other ingredients: Sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, water for injection. Indication :  Vitamin B12 deficiency that cannot be corrected by diet. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Side effects: Very rarely, acne, eczematous, urticarial, and anaphylactic or anaphylactoid drug reactions.   • The drug is usually administered intramuscularly (injected into a muscle). However, it can also be given slowly intravenously or subcutaneously (injected into a vein or under the skin).
  • Always use this medicine exactly as directed. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • The recommended dose is:
    • At the start of treatment, 1 ml (1 ampoule) is administered once or twice a week during the first two weeks after diagnosis, corresponding to 1000 - 2000 µg cyanocobalamin per week.
    • If a vitamin B12 absorption disorder in the intestine is confirmed , 100 µg of cyanocobalamin is administered once a month.

 

  • Duration of application:
    • This medicine is intended for long-term use.
    • Please consult your doctor about this.

 

  • If a larger quantity was applied
    • No cases of poisoning or overdose have been reported.

 

  • If the application was forgotten
    • A double dose should not be used if the previous dose was forgotten.

 

  • If you cancel the application
    • Interrupting your treatment will jeopardize its success! If you experience any unpleasant side effects, please talk to your doctor about further treatment.
