Vitamin D3 Vida contains vegetarian vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) and medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) from the highest quality coconut oil.

Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system, the maintenance of normal bones, and normal muscle function. Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is a precursor of vitamin D, which is converted in the body into the physiologically active vitamin D. Our bodies can produce vitamin D3 themselves with the help of sunlight in the skin cells. However, the intensity of sunlight, and therefore the production of vitamin D3, is influenced by many factors, such as the position of the sun, the weather, etc. Everything that comes between the bright sky and the skin can affect the body's own vitamin D production. For example, the intensity of the sun between November and April in our latitudes is considered too weak for sufficient vitamin D to be produced in the skin.
