Vitamin B12 drops contain methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin, two bioavailable vitamin B12 compounds. They are among the active forms of vitamin B12. The body can convert these active cobalamin forms into one another if necessary.

Vitamin B12 (also: cobalamin) is one of the water-soluble vitamins and includes several compounds, all of which have a ring system that contains cobalt. The main source for humans is therefore animal products such as milk, eggs and meat. A strictly vegan diet can therefore more easily lead to a vitamin B12 deficiency.

Vitamin B12 contributes, among other things, to normal energy metabolism, normal functioning of the nervous system and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. It supports normal functioning of the immune system and normal psychological function.
