Application areas:

Treatment of symptoms of allergic diseases such as:

• chronic nettle rash (urticaria) with symptoms such as itching, wheal formation, reddening of the skin
• chronic allergic rhinitis
• Hay fever with symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose, blocked nose, redness or itching of the eyes and tears.

In addition, depending on the approval status of the respective finished medicinal product, cetirizine is used for:

• asthmatic states of allergic origin, as a supporting measure to suppress the corresponding symptoms
