Thealoz® Duo combines the positive properties of hyaluronic acid 0.15% with those of the natural ingredient trehalose 3 ^% in a hypotonic formulation with its patented dual formula for dry eyes.

Hyaluronic acid provides soothing moisture to the eye's surface, improves the tear film, and prolongs its duration. It also aids in corneal regeneration and promotes wound healing. Trehalose protects the eyes from damage caused by dryness.

Trehalose is a naturally occurring disaccharide (double sugar) that is synthesized by many living organisms during prolonged periods of drought to protect themselves from the harmful effects of dryness (anhydrobiosis). Trehalose can also protect the cornea and conjunctiva from the effects of dryness by forming a protective film on the cell surface. Furthermore, trehalose has a high water-binding capacity and is therefore a suitable natural ingredient for artificial tears.

Thealoz® Duo is gentle on the eyes because it is preservative-free. Since ^it contains no preservatives, the eye tissue is protected, and the product is also well-tolerated by users who are sensitive to preservatives.
