HARTMANN MedProtect Film Spray is a skin protection spray that protects vulnerable or damaged skin by forming a long-lasting, breathable and waterproof barrier against body fluids and external irritants – for up to 72 hours of protection.

HARTMANN MedProtect Film Spray protects vulnerable or damaged skin from moisture, friction, and irritants. It forms a transparent film that creates a waterproof yet breathable protective layer – ideal for skin that can no longer absorb moisture.

The skin protectant film provides long-lasting protection for up to 72 hours, reducing the need for frequent application, which simplifies care procedures and increases patient comfort. The formulation dries in approximately 30 seconds, allowing for quick and efficient application. The absorbency of incontinence products is fully maintained, and the adhesion of adhesive fixations and wound dressings (with adhesive borders) is not affected.

MedProtect Film Spray is suitable for vulnerable and damaged skin and can be used in numerous care situations, including incontinence, stoma care, and wound edge protection. The spray is ideal for medium-sized and hard-to-reach areas and allows for targeted, even application – for example, as skin protection in cases of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

The alcohol-free formula ensures gentle, irritation-free application, even on sensitive or damaged skin. The transparent protective film allows for monitoring of the skin's condition at any time without disrupting the skincare process.

Application:
Ensure the skin is clean and completely dry before use.
Hold the spray 100–150 mm from the skin and apply an even film over the affected area.
If an area is not completely covered, reapply after it has dried (approx. 30 seconds).
In case of skin folds or skin-to-skin contact, separate the skin until the film is completely dry.
Allow the film to dry completely (approx. 30 seconds) before applying incontinence products.
Reapply every 24–72 hours, depending on the frequency of cleansing.
In cases of heavier skin exposure, more frequent application every 12–24 hours may be necessary.
