Salbe Posterisan protect contains a skin protection complex made from jojoba wax, yellow beeswax and cetyl stearyl isononanoate. Other ingredients include wool wax, butylated hydroxytoluene, white vaseline, purified water and benzyl alcohol.

To alleviate the symptoms of hemorrhoidal diseases and to prevent recurrence of acute hemorrhoidal diseases.

Butylated hydroxytoluene can cause local skin irritation as well as irritation of the mucous membranes.
