POLYPORUS EXTRACT capsules

The Polyporus grows mainly from June to October in beech and oak forests and is found in both Europe and Asia. It has a long tradition as a medicinal mushroom in traditional Chinese medicine. It was mentioned in Chinese writings more than two thousand years ago because it is particularly rich in the minerals calcium, potassium and iron and also contains considerable amounts of the trace elements zinc, copper and manganese. Other ingredients include ergosterol, the precursor of provitamin D, important B vitamins such as folic acid, biotin, niacin and vitamin A (retinol). The Polyporus also contains specific polysaccharides and polypeptides, the diverse effects of which have been scientifically proven.
