Orofar Ultra is

a medicine in the form of lozenges containing flurbiprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). The product relieves sore throat, swelling, and irritation, and also makes swallowing easier. It has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects. The medicine is intended for short-term use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age for sore throat accompanied by inflammation. Orofar Ultra has an orange flavor.

Composition:

The active substance is flurbiprofen (Flurbiprofenum). Each hard lozenge contains 8.75 mg of flurbiprofen. Excipients: isomalt (E953); liquid maltitol (E965); acesulfame potassium (E950); macrogol 400; levomenthol; Orange flavour (contains triacetin (E1518), flavourings, natural flavouring ingredients including citral, citronellol, geraniol and linalool).

Dosage

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 lozenge every 3 to 6 hours, as needed. Do not take more than 5 lozenges in 24 hours. The lozenge should be dissolved slowly in your mouth; do not swallow or chew it. Always move the lozenge around in your mouth while dissolving.
