OPC

OPC, oligomeric procyanidins or proanthocyanidins, belong to the group of flavanols. They were discovered in 1955 by Prof. Dr. Jack Masquelier, who himself proved that OPC is found in the seeds and skins of grapes. Just like vitamin C, it cannot be produced by the human body, which is why it must be supplied through food. It is found in varying concentrations in almost all plants, with the concentration being highest in the seeds of grapes. But these are often eliminated in technological production processes. This is why additional doses of OPC can be useful for the human body.

BioProphyl has doubled the amount. Each capsule contains 240 mg of pure OPC of very high quality. The total polyphenols, based on the grape seed extract contained in the capsule (600 mg per capsule), are 100% = 600 mg per capsule. Each capsule contains at least 420 mg of proanthocyanids. The values ​​mentioned are confirmed by another neutral laboratory in addition to the batch analyses.
