NatuGena NR Modulator is a dietary supplement containing the special form of vitamin B3, nicotinamide riboside (NR). Vitamin B3 contributes, among other things, to normal energy metabolism. The formula is supported by the addition of other bioactive B vitamins, including vitamin B2, biotin, folic acid, and vitamin B12.

Nicotinamide
riboside (NR) is a bioactive form of vitamin B3, now recognized as a distinct variant of niacin. NR was discovered in 1944 as "Factor V," an essential growth factor for the bacterium Haemophilus influenzae. Today, it is known that NR is an effective precursor of NAD⁺—a key coenzyme produced in the body using NR and the amino acid L-tryptophan, among other things. NAD⁺ is involved in numerous biochemical processes, including energy metabolism and cellular regeneration.

NR concentrations in food tend to be low, so supplementation may be beneficial.

Vitamin B3 and the Respiratory Chain:
The respiratory chain is the key process in our cells that converts nutrients into valuable energy (ATP). This process takes place in the mitochondria, the powerhouses of the cells. To produce ATP, the body needs the coenzyme NAD⁺ – and this is precisely where nicotinamide riboside comes into play: As a special form of vitamin B3, it contributes to the formation of NAD⁺ and thus supports energy metabolism.

B vitamins for optimal supplementation
: The B vitamins contained in NR Modulator are included for ideal support: Biotin, vitamin B12, and vitamin B2 contribute to normal energy metabolism. In addition, vitamin B2 helps protect cells from oxidative stress, and folic acid plays a role in cell division.

All vitamins are in their bioactive form. This allows the body to use them directly without having to convert them first.

Recommended intake:
1 capsule once daily. For optimal results, take at least 30 minutes before or 90 minutes after a meal with 250 ml of still, lukewarm water.
