Neem oil is a versatile, nutrient-rich extract packed with antioxidants, fatty acids, and antimicrobial compounds. It is highly prized for soothing dry skin, treating dandruff, fighting acne, and repelling insects. It also acts as an effective, organic pesticide and fungicide for plants.

The neem tree (pronounced neem) has been highly valued in its native India for centuries because it keeps pests and parasites away from humans, plants and animals, e.g. dogs and horses. 

Therefore, it is highly valued as a natural plant care product. It can also be used as a cosmetic additive, e.g., in lotions, shampoos, and foot care products.

The neem oil used by CMD Natural Cosmetics is extracted from the seeds and leaves (using a gentle cold-pressing process). This ensures that the tree is not unnecessarily damaged.

Pure neem oil has a viscous to pasty, waxy consistency at room temperature.

It is usually liquid at temperatures above 25°C.

Note:
Neem oil is not for internal use! At room temperature, the neem oil becomes solid, and flaky particles will settle on the inside of the glass bottle. These are not a defect but rather an indication of the high quality and natural state of the product. The deposits will disappear when the oil is warmed.
