Mefix is ​​a self-adhesive fabric for the secure fixation of wound dressings, tubes and cannulas. Mefix is ​​breathable but water-repellent and thus offers protection against external contamination. Mefix is ​​gentle on the skin and skin-friendly and is comfortable to wear thanks to its adaptability.

Mefix can be used to fix wound dressings, compresses, catheters and cannulas, as well as in a wide range of other situations where fixation is required.

Use of Mefix
Mefix must not be used under pressure, as this could lead to shear forces and subsequent skin damage. This is particularly true at the joints.

1. Cut the bandage to the desired size.
2. Separate the two parts of the protective paper by slightly stretching and bending Mefix. Remove the narrow part.
3. Place the part with the exposed adhesive onto the skin. Remove the remaining protective paper. Smooth Mefix out to ensure optimal adhesion. Mefix must not be stretched during application.
