• The preparation contains levocarnitine, an L-amino acid derivative (biogenic amine), which is used to treat carnitine deficiency in patients who suffer from carnitine deficiency as a result of dialysis treatment (DCD = Dialysis-related Carnitine Disorder).

• Always take the medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is 1 g levocarnitine (3.3 ml solution) per day. On days with hemodialysis treatment, the preparation should be taken after the dialysis treatment.
