Lavanox wound irrigation solution and wound spray

Lavanox wound irrigation solution and Lavanox wound spray are medical devices based on water with 0.08% sodium hypochlorite. The sodium hypochlorite contained in Lavanox ensures safe preservation and makes Lavanox a well-tolerated and effective alternative in modern wound treatment. Lavanox products work purely physically and do not contain alcohol. The natural raw materials mineral salt and water ensure the products' good tissue compatibility. The mechanical effect of Lavanox ensures thorough cleansing of the wound area, creating an environment conducive to healing. In addition, unpleasant wound odors are quickly and reliably eliminated. The preservative sodium hypochlorite prevents the growth of bacteria (such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa), MRSA and MRE, as well as viruses and fungi in the solution and in moistened wound dressings. Lavanox products are manufactured using ECA technology (electrochemical activation) and have a long shelf life after production and after opening. Lavanox 1000 ml is suitable for use in negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT)!

Special features:

  • Eliminates wound odors.
  • Effective against bacteria, viruses and fungi.
  • Suitable for Pseudomonas and MRSA.
  • Reduces biofilm and deposits.
  • No restriction on the duration of use.
  • Very good tissue compatibility.
  • No rinsing required.
  • No development of resistance.

Indications:
Lavanox wound irrigation solution and wound spray are used for cleaning and infection prevention in wounds, particularly for contaminated, chronic, and acute wounds at risk of infection. Lavanox wound irrigation solution and Lavanox wound spray help to efficiently and gently remove biofilm and fibrin, as well as for the painless removal of encrusted and difficult-to-remove wound dressings and bandages.

Application:
A wound should first be cleansed of dirt, blood, and plaque. To do this, the affected areas are thoroughly rinsed with Lavanox or thoroughly sprayed with several sprays. After applying Lavanox, no further rinsing is required. There are no restrictions on the duration or frequency of use. Lavanox is non-irritating, non-irritating, and painless.

Shelf life:

  • after production: 2 years.
  • after opening: 12 weeks.
