Composition:
1 ampoule contains: Viscum album (Salicis) e planta tota K Dil. Strength D 1 ml (HAB, Vs. 38). Other ingredients: Sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, water for injections. Indications

Contraindications
Iscucin Salicis should not be used in the following cases:

• known allergy to mistletoe preparations.
• acute inflammatory or high fever diseases, treatment should be interrupted until the signs of inflammation subside.
• Hyperthyroidism with unbalanced metabolism.

Precautions for use and warnings:
It is expressly recommended that the dosage be increased cautiously. An excessive increase in the dosage, particularly when skipping a dilution level in the lower potencies (e.g. from strength C to strength E), can lead to allergic reactions.

What should you bear in mind during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
The effects of the drug on pregnancy, the development of the unborn child, childbirth, and the development of the child after birth, particularly the development of blood cells and the immune system in the unborn child/infant, have not been studied. The potential risk to humans is therefore unknown. Caution is advised when used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.

Interactions with other medicinal products:
Due to interactions with other immunomodulatory substances, careful dosing and monitoring of appropriate immune parameters is recommended.

Dosage and method of administration:
As directed by a doctor. To avoid hypersensitivity reactions, a gradual dosage increase is required. Start with strength A. When increasing the dose carefully up to once daily use and switching to the next higher strength, the local inflammatory reaction at the injection site should not exceed a diameter of 5 cm each time. Skipping a dilution level in the lower potencies (e.g. from strength C to strength E) can lead to allergic reactions that require emergency measures.

Duration of use:
Treatment of an illness should be completed after 2 weeks. If no improvement occurs within this period, a doctor should be consulted. The duration of treatment for chronic illnesses requires consultation with a doctor.

Side effects:
What side effects can occur with the use of Iscucin Salicis?
Like all medicines, Iscucin Salicis can cause side effects, although not everybody experiences them. A slight increase in body temperature, localized inflammatory reactions around the site of the subcutaneous injection and temporary slight swelling of regional lymph nodes are harmless. In case of intolerance to mistletoe, local or general allergic or allergy-like reactions such as generalized itching, hives, rash, facial swelling (angioedema), chills, shortness of breath, or shock may occur, requiring discontinuation of the product and immediate medical attention.
