How does the active ingredient in the medication work?
The active ingredient belongs to a group of substances that are effective against pain and inflammation, and can also reduce fever. All three effects are primarily based on the inhibition of a naturally occurring substance called prostaglandin. This substance acts as a messenger and must be present for pain to be perceived, inflammatory reactions to be triggered, or body temperature to rise.
