Acerola Zinc combines the natural vitamin C of the acerola cherry with valuable zinc. This gives Acerola Zinc the best of both worlds: the acerola cherry, a vitamin powerhouse rich in natural polyphenols, combined with zinc, the second most abundant trace element in our bodies.

What is acerola?
The plant, also known as the Antillean or Jamaican cherry, is not native to the Americas. It grows in the Americas – including Texas, Mexico, Panama, Brazil, Guatemala, and Jamaica. The fruit of this plant is prized primarily for its exceptionally high vitamin C content: 100 g of juice extracted from the pulp of the stone fruit contains 1300–1700 mg of the vitamin. This makes acerola cherry one of the fruits and vegetables with the highest vitamin C content.
Because the fruit is very soft, it is not well-suited for transport. Therefore, it is usually processed immediately after harvesting. In this country, the small fruit can mainly be bought as juice or powder.
