Notes:
Hydrogen peroxide solution 3% bleaches textiles. Do not use after the expiration date.
Areas of application:
For cleaning wounds, disinfecting the mouth for bad breath, and rinsing for bleeding gums and inflammation of the oral mucosa.
Dosage instructions, method of application:
Unless otherwise prescribed, dilute 6-10 times (approximately 1-2 tablespoons in a glass of water) before use. Hydrogen peroxide solution 3% should not be used in closed body cavities to avoid the risk of gas embolism.
Contraindications:
In the very rare, genetically caused catalase deficiency (acatalaseemia), the effect of 3% hydrogen peroxide solution is reduced.
