Hydrogels for wound healing, SutriSept Hydrogel for wounds 30 ml

SutriSept Wound Hydrogel is a cleansing, moisturizing, and nourishing hydrogel used in the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, as well as first- and second-degree burns, in combination with medical materials such as bandages, dressings, cotton swabs, and wound fillers.

SutriSept Wound Hydrogel creates a protective coating at the site of application and mechanically prevents microorganisms from adhering to the wound. Because SutriSept Wound Hydrogel does not delay the wound healing process, it can be applied to the wound bed for several days. It also decontaminates the wound through regular cleansing, moisturizing, and creating a protective coating.

The formulation creates a thin coating at the site of application of a unique combination of ingredients (polyhexanide and poloxamer), preventing microorganisms from adhering to the site, maintaining cleanliness and moisture, and contributing to wound healing. Furthermore, the thin protective film created by SutriSept Wound Hydrogel acts as a barrier between the wound surface and the dressing, minimizing dressing adhesion and limiting the growth of microorganisms that settle on the dressing surface. This increases the dressing's effectiveness. SutriSept

Wound

Hydrogel is intended for cleansing, irrigating, and moisturizing acute wounds (e.g., traumatic wounds resulting from cuts, tears, abrasions, crushing, bites, stings, etc., including surgical wounds), chronic wounds (e.g., diabetic ulcers, varicose ulcers, pressure ulcers, etc.), wounds caused by thermal or chemical factors (e.g., first- and second-degree burns, chemical burns, etc.), wounds caused by electrical current, radiation wounds, urological catheter insertion sites, peristomal skin, fistulas, and abscesses.

SutriSept Wound Hydrogel is also suitable for moisturising medical materials such as bandages, dressings, compresses, and wound fillers before application, and for moisturising and decontaminating medical materials such as bandages, dressings, compresses, and wound fillers that have dried, adhered, or become contaminated before removal.

SutriSept

Wound Hydrogel cleanses, moisturises, and isolates the wound surface from the external environment by creating a protective coating. Maintaining a stable wound helps shorten the healing process.

How to use:

SutriSept Wound Hydrogel can be used in conjunction with SutriSept Wound Fluid. Before applying SutriSept Wound Hydrogel, rinse the wound with SutriSept Wound Fluid to remove dirt and debris.

Before applying the dressing and bandage, cover the wound bed with a generous amount of hydrogel. SutriSept Wound Hydrogel can remain on the wound surface until the next dressing change. This allows SutriSept Wound Hydrogel to constantly maintain wound moisture and minimize dressing adhesion. The protective film formed by the hydrogel covering the wound surface can be easily removed during the next dressing change. For this purpose, it is recommended to use SutriSept Wound Liquid when changing the dressing.

Application should be repeated regularly during the healing period to remove dead tissue and scabs. Do not use the hydrogel on the same wound for more than 30 days without interruption.
