Hirudo comp., liquid dilution for injection. Indications: In accordance with anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature. These include: Harmonization of the interaction of sensation and life organization in the venous system, e.g. hemorrhoids, diseases associated with varicose veins (varicose symptom complex), vein inflammation with thrombotic occlusion (thrombophlebitis).

Hirudo comp., liquid dilution for injection

Composition:
1 ampoule contains: Aesculus hippocastanum e semine ferm 34c Dil. D3 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 34c), Hamamelis virginiana e cortice ferm 33e Dil. D3 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 33e), Hirudo medicinalis ex animale toto Gl Dil. D7 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 41c), Mercurius vivus Dil. D14 aquos. 0.1 g, Paeonia officinalis e radice ferm 33c Dil. D3 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 33c), Pulsatilla vulgaris e floribus ferm 33c Dil. D3 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 33c). Other ingredients: sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, water for injections.

Contraindications:
None known.

Precautions for use and warnings:
There is insufficient documented experience with the use of this medicine in children. It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age.

Dosage and method of administration:
Unless otherwise prescribed, inject 1 ml subcutaneously twice a week to once daily.

Duration of use:
Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks. If no improvement occurs within 2 days, consult a doctor. The duration of treatment of chronic illnesses requires consultation with a doctor.

None known.
