For our curcumin preparation, we combine two branded raw materials from renowned producers, both of which are characterized by outstanding quality and both hold a C14 certificate. This certificate confirms beyond doubt that the raw materials are of exclusively natural origin and contain no synthetic additives.
Sabinsa's Curcumin C3 Complex ® contains all three biologically active curcuminoids (curcumin, bisdemethoxycurcumin, and demethoxycurcumin) in high concentrations. The patented active ingredient BCM-95 ® consists of a 100% natural curcumin extract (CEC). It also contains the three natural curcuminoids, as well as tumerones and the valuable turmeric oils. These promote the absorption of the active ingredient in the small intestine and increase the permeability of the cell walls to curcumin. This increases the relative bioavailability by 5 to 7 times compared to other turmeric extracts. Furthermore, BCM-95 ® is detectable in the blood for up to 8 hours and is more than twice as effective as regular curcumin.
