Gentian Violet 0.5% Aqueous Solution 20 g HASCO



Gentian Violet 0.5% Aqueous Solution is a medicine, also known as Pyoctanin, used to disinfect superficial lesions of the epidermis, skin, and mucous membranes. The violet solution can also be used to disinfect purulent infections of the skin and mucous membranes. Gentian Violet is intended for external use.

Gentian violet, Gentian 0.5% aqueous solution 20 g Composition:

The active substance is methylrosaniline chloride.


1 g of solution contains 5 mg of methylrosaniline chloride (Methylrosanilinii chloridum).


Excipient: purified water.
