Gaviscon Mint Flavour
Tablets are intended for the treatment of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux (GERD), such as acid regurgitation, heartburn, and indigestion (related to reflux), for example, after meals or during pregnancy, or in patients with symptoms related to reflux esophagitis.
The
active substances are sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, and calcium carbonate.
Each tablet contains: 250 mg of sodium alginate, 133.5 mg of sodium bicarbonate, and 80 mg of calcium carbonate.
Other ingredients include: mannitol (E421), macrogol 20,000, copovidone, aspartame (E951), peppermint flavor, magnesium stearate, and acesulfame potassium
. These tablets are sugar- and gluten-free.
Dosage:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Take this medicine by mouth. Chew the tablet thoroughly before swallowing. Adults, including the elderly, and children 12 years of age and over: If symptoms occur, take 2 to 4 tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day. How Gaviscon Mint Tablets

: They form a protective layer on the surface of stomach contents. This layer prevents stomach acid from flowing back up from the stomach, reducing pain and discomfort in the throat and mouth.
