Flamigel hydrocolloid gel for minor wounds

Flamigel

is an intelligent hydrocolloid gel that provides an optimal environment for accelerating the healing of minor cuts and superficial burns. Ideal for your home first aid kit, for minor cuts and burns occurring during everyday activities, and for sunburn. Flamigel is a hydroactive colloidal gel designed for the treatment of minor wounds, supporting rapid skin healing by covering the wound and creating an optimal moist healing environment. Flamigel is also used after laser therapy, for superficial burns (including burns resulting from radiation therapy), and for minor wounds (e.g., abrasions, lacerations). Flamigel can also be used on superficial open wounds.

Properties of the active ingredients:

Hydrogel moisturizes dry wounds, hydrocolloid absorbs excess fluid, and arginine combines the effects of hydrogel and hydrocolloid, simultaneously creating an acidic, semi-permeable layer that creates a barrier against contamination.

Ingredients:

Hydrocolloid, arginine, purified water, macrogol, branched-chain fatty acids (BCFA), methyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E216), disodium EDTA.

Use

: Wash your hands before and after dressing the wound. Gently clean and dry the wound before applying the gel.
For superficial burns and minor wounds (e.g., abrasions, cuts): Carefully apply Flamigel® to the wound (without rubbing) once or twice daily (for sunburn, apply two to six times daily). If necessary, cover the wound with a plaster or dressing and change it daily.
For superficial open wounds: Apply a thick layer of Flamigel® (5 mm) to the wound, minimizing contact with the wound edges. Apply a sterile, non-adhesive dressing over the Flamigel® gel and secure it with gauze or a bandage. Leave the Flamigel® in place as long as the gel structure remains intact. As new skin cells begin to multiply and the wound begins to close, apply only a thin layer of Flamigel® to prevent deterioration. Protect the wound edges as needed.
Open wounds: Change the gel and dressing daily.
