Video means "I see" in Latin.
Our eyes perceive light and colors, movement and distances, and are used for spatial orientation. To enable the important sensory function of sight day after day, peak performance is required.
Vision can deteriorate not only with age. Constant work on the computer or constant leisure activities in front of screens, dry air and strong sunlight, lack of sleep or an unhealthy lifestyle are factors that can also damage our eyes.
To support and maintain our eyesight, our eyes need certain micronutrients that our body cannot produce itself. A balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle ensure that these vital substances are available in sufficient quantities.
Nevertheless, nutritional situations such as malnutrition and nutritional deficiencies, absorption disorders, regular alcohol and cigarette consumption, and high physical strain (e.g. through sport or stress) can occur in which an adequate supply is not guaranteed.
In these cases, Vitazell ® Video is an important source of nutrition thanks to its valuable combination of special micronutrients.
In recent years, nutritionists have recognized the importance of the natural carotenoids astaxanthin, lutein, and zeaxanthin, which are naturally present in various foods. While lutein and zeaxanthin are present in relatively high concentrations in the macula, astaxanthin is also deposited in the eyes, for example in the lens.
Blueberries contain valuable ingredients such as flavonoids (especially the so-called anthocyanins), minerals, fruit acids, and vitamins and are therefore highly valued for their diverse properties.
Vitamin B2, vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc, copper, and selenium help protect cells (including those in the eyes) from oxidative stress. Oxidative stress in the eyes is not only caused by aggressive sunlight or constantly changing light exposure, but also during the visual process in good lighting conditions.
Vitamin A and vitamin D contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting.
Folic acid, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12 contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism and thus to normal homocysteine levels in the body. In addition, vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels. These four vitamins also contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Copper, as well as vitamins B2, B6, B12, and C, contribute to normal energy metabolism and the normal function of the nervous system, which includes the optic nerves.

Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
