Indication :
- This medical device is a so-called defoamer.

It is used:
- for the symptomatic treatment of gas-related gastrointestinal complaints, e.g. flatulence (meteorism), feeling of fullness and functional dyspepsia
- to prepare for diagnostics in the abdominal area, such as endoscopy, X-rays and sonography.
Dosage :
- Always take this medicine exactly as directed. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
- Please follow the instructions for use, otherwise the product may not work properly!

For gas-related gastrointestinal complaints:

Adults and adolescents aged 14 and over:

Single dose:
- 1 - 2 soft capsules (equivalent to 140 - 280 mg simethicone)

Total daily dose:
- 3 - 6 soft capsules (equivalent to 420 - 840 mg simethicone)

Single dose:
- For children under 14 years of age and infants, other dosage forms are available to achieve an appropriate dosage.

Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, the following dosage is recommended:

- 2 - 3 soft capsules (equivalent to 280 - 420 mg simethicone)

- 1 soft capsule (equivalent to 140 mg simethicone)

Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, the following dosage is recommended:

Duration of application
- The duration of use depends on the course of the symptoms.
- The preparation can also be taken over a longer period of time if necessary.
Manner :
- The preparation should be taken with or after meals, or before going to bed if necessary.
- The capsules are swallowed whole. You can also swallow the preparation with some liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water) if this makes it easier for you to take.
Side effects :
- Side effects reported to date for the drug have had no clinical significance.
- If you notice any side effects, please report them to the manufacturer listed in this leaflet or to your doctor.

When taken with medicines:
- Interactions with medicines are not known.
Contraindications :

The preparation must not be taken
- if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to simethicone or any of the other ingredients.
- The product should only be used on fresh surgical wounds following gastrointestinal operations after careful consultation with your doctor.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding :
- There are no concerns about taking it during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

- For the symptomatic treatment of gas-related gastrointestinal complaints, children under 14 years of age should not take this product. For this age group, other dosage forms are available to achieve an appropriate dosage.
