Envil throat - lozenges, for use as an adjunct to angina.



Composition


1 tablet contains

Active substances: 1.5 mg cetylpyridinium chloride, 1.0 mg lidocaine hydrochloride, and 17.42 mg zinc gluconate (equivalent to 2.5 mg zinc ions).

Excipients: menthol, microcrystalline cellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, aspartame, anhydrous citric acid, croscarmellose sodium, talc, magnesium stearate, glycerol 99.5%.



Dosage


Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.



Adults - suck one tablet slowly every 1 or 2 hours. Do not exceed 8 tablets per day.

Children 6 years and older – suck one tablet slowly every 2 or 3 hours. Do not exceed 6 tablets daily. Do not take this medicine with a meal. Ideally, take it one hour before or after a meal.


The tablet should be sucked slowly into the mouth. Envil Throat has antiseptic (disinfectant) and local anesthetic



properties . It contains three active ingredients : cetylpyridinium chloride, which has disinfectant, bactericidal, and antifungal properties ; lidocaine hydrochloride, which acts as a local anesthetic and relieves pain; and zinc gluconate, which supports the body's immune system. Indications: An antiseptic and local anesthetic with zinc for use in inflammatory conditions of the throat and mouth. Envil Throat can be used as an adjunct in the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections associated with a sore throat and tonsillitis (tonsillitis). Contraindications: When not to use Envil throat: - if you are allergic to any of the ingredients - if you have severe liver or kidney disease - if you have methemoglobinemia - in children under 6 years of age. Using the medicine with food and drink: Do not take this medicine with or just before eating due to the risk of aspiration. It is best to take the medicine one hour before or one hour after a meal. Be careful when drinking hot beverages and eating hot foods. Due to reduced sensitivity to heat, there is an increased risk of burns to the lining of the mouth and throat. Do not consume dairy products while using Envil throat, as they reduce the absorption of zinc. Pregnancy and breastfeeding
