Diosmolytel

is a single-use product in sachets containing powder for oral suspension administered immediately before consumption. Diosmolytel is administered orally for acute and chronic diarrhea and pain symptoms associated with gastrointestinal diseases. It is also indicated for the prevention of diarrhea induced by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. One

Diosmectite is a natural clay characterized by a crystalline structure composed of very thin, overlapping layers, which ensures a high degree of absorption. This substance binds fluids in the intestinal lumen, thereby increasing stool density and slowing excretion. This product may also reduce the risk of dehydration caused by diarrhea and facilitate the restoration of proper water and electrolyte balance thanks to its balanced dose of electrolytes. Due to the high degree of absorption, diosmectite interacts with the glycoproteins of the mucous membrane covering the walls of the stomach and duodenum, changing their physical properties and forming a protective gel that protects against excessive acid secretion and substances that damage the gastrointestinal tract.

Composition

: One sachet contains diosmectite 3.00 g, sodium chloride 0.263 g, potassium chloride 0.0373 g, anhydrous tripotassium citrate 0.162 g, trisodium citrate 0.147 g, glucose (anhydrous dextrose) 1.982 g. Excipients: vanillin, sodium, saccharin, silicon dioxide, cream flavor, vanilla flavor; color: beta-carotene.

Use

For the first three days:
Children over 2 years of age: up to 4 sachets per day
Adults: up to 6 sachets per day.
Then continue taking a half-dosage until diarrhea completely stops.
Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 100 ml of water. To obtain a homogeneous suspension, pour the powder into a glass, add water, and stir slowly. It is recommended to take the product between meals.
Diosmolytel should not be used for more than 5 consecutive days. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
