Homeopathic medicinal product

Registered homeopathic medicinal product, therefore without a stated therapeutic indication.

Contraindications:
Ginkgobakehl D4 must not be taken:

• in cases of known hypersensitivity to Ginkgo biloba.
• during pregnancy.

Due to its alcohol content, this medicine should only be used by individuals with alcohol or liver disease after consulting a doctor.

Precautions for use and warnings:
As there is insufficient documented experience regarding its use during breastfeeding, this medicine should not be used while breastfeeding. There is insufficient documented experience regarding the use of this medicine in children and adolescents. Therefore, it should not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Patients with an abnormally increased tendency to bleed (hemorrhagic diathesis) and who are simultaneously taking anticoagulants and antiplatelet drugs should only use Ginkgobakehl D4 after consulting a doctor. Preparations containing ginkgo can increase the tendency to bleed; therefore, as a precaution, Ginkgobakehl D4 should be discontinued 3 to 4 days before surgery.

Contains 52% alcohol by volume (ethanol). When following the dosage instructions, up to 0.05 g of alcohol is ingested with each dose (corresponding to 5 drops). This poses a health risk, particularly for individuals with liver disease, alcoholism, epilepsy, brain damage, pregnant women, and children. The effects of other medications may be impaired or intensified. Occasional cloudiness that may occur with Ginkgobakehl D4 does not affect its quality. Please shake well before use.

Interactions with other medications:
If this medicine is used concurrently with anticoagulants, their effects may be intensified. The effects of medications that inhibit platelet aggregation (antiplatelet agents and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) may be altered. General note: The effects of a homeopathic medicine can be adversely affected by generally harmful lifestyle factors and by stimulants and other substances of abuse. If you are taking other medications, consult your doctor.

Duration of use:
Even homeopathic medicines should not be used for extended periods without medical advice. Note to the user: If symptoms persist during use of the medicine, medical advice should be sought.

Side effects:
Gastrointestinal discomfort, fever, headache, hypersensitivity reactions, or allergic skin reactions (redness, swelling, itching) have been observed after taking Ginkgobakehl D4. In addition, bleeding has been very rarely reported with long-term use, the causal relationship of which to the use of Ginkgo preparations has not been established. In this case, you should discontinue use and consult a doctor. Note: When taking homeopathic medicines, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). In this case, you should discontinue the medicine and consult your doctor.
