Comfeel Plus Transparent hydrocolloid dressing is the thin and flexible solution for sealing and healing no-to-low exuding wounds. The semi-permeable top film allows for evaporation corresponding to the level of exudate, but keeps bacteria and water from entering the wound.

Application:
Comfeel Plus Transparent hydrocolloid dressings are indicated for a wide range of non- to lightly exuding chronic wounds. The dressings are indicated for chronic wounds such as leg ulcers and pressure ulcers as well as acute wounds such as superficial burns, superficial second-degree burns, split skin graft donor sites, post-operative wounds and skin abrasions. The dressing can be worn for up to 7 days depending on the specific wound characteristics. Comfeel Plus Transparent can be used as a primary and secondary dressing.

The top film is water- and bacteria-repellent to protect the wound from external factors and smooth to reduce friction. Mode of action:
When the dressing comes into contact with wound exudate, it forms a viscous gel that absorbs exudate but does not adhere to the wound bed. Excess moisture evaporates through the semipermeable top film.

Product composition:
Comfeel Plus Transparent consists of moisture-absorbing sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) particles embedded in a synthetic, elastic, and adhesive mass. The top film consists of a semi-permeable polyurethane film. Comfeel Plus Transparent contains no pectin, no known allergens such as latex or rosin, and no animal products such as gelatin.
