Coffepirine Headache tablets 450 mg + 50 mg 50 tablets

Coffepirine Tablets for headaches contains two active substances: acetylsalicylic acid with analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects and caffeine, which acts on the vasomotor center in the brain, causing contraction of the smooth muscles of blood vessels, and thus reducing blood flow through the brain tissue. It has a stimulating effect on the respiratory center.

Indications

Coffepirine Tablets for headaches are used to treat pain of various origins of low to moderate intensity (e.g. headaches, rheumatic, muscle, neuralgia, toothache).
Active substance: Acidum acetylsalicylicum, Coffeinum.

Composition

The active substances of the drug are acetylsalicylic acid and caffeine. Excipients are: potato starch and talc.

Dosage

This medicine should always be used exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years:
The usual dose is 1 tablet (450 mg acetylsalicylic acid and 50 mg caffeine), if necessary from 2 to 6 times a day, not more often than every 4 hours. Do not take more than 6 tablets per day (corresponding to 2700 mg acetylsalicylic acid and 300 mg caffeine).
The medicine should not be used without consulting a doctor for longer than 3 days in adults and for 1 day in adolescents over 12 years of age.
Use with caution in adolescents over 12 years of age due to the caffeine content.

Method of administration

Do not use on an empty stomach. Swallow the tablet with a large amount of liquid.
