Warning: Contains 7.2% alcohol by volume, Ponceau 4R (E 124), macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate, levomenthol and cinnamon oil.

Chlorhexamed Fluid 0.1% is an antiseptic mouthwash that is used for temporary supportive therapy in cases of bacterial gum inflammation. It fights bacteria that cause inflammation and reduces the adhesion of bacteria by forming a protective film on the teeth, gums and oral mucosa. This protects the teeth from excessive plaque formation and thus helps with gum inflammation.
Good to know:
Bacteria are the main component of plaque and in most cases the cause of gum inflammation. This is exactly where the antibacterial effect of Chlorhexamed medicines comes into play. This makes Chlorhexamed Fluid 0.1% suitable support when it comes to bacterial inflammation of the gums and oral mucosa. Effectively combats bacteria in the mouth. The antiseptic solution Chlorhexamed Fluid 0.1% is not only suitable for bacterial gum inflammation. Chlorhexamed Fluid 0.1% can be used whenever effective control of bacteria in the mouth is required.

As a temporary supportive therapy for mechanical cleaning in the case of bacterial inflammation of the gums and oral mucosa, for a temporary reduction in the number of germs in the oral cavity, in cases of limited oral hygiene ability.
Application of Chlorhexamed Fluid 0.1%:
Use Chlorhexamed exactly as described in the package insert or follow your dentist's recommendations.
The following applies to adults and children aged 12 and over:
Rinse twice a day - preferably in the morning and evening after meals and brushing your teeth - with Chlorhexamed Fluid 0.1%, for example to treat gingivitis. Rinse the oral cavity thoroughly with 15 ml of Chlorhexamed Fluid 0.1% for one minute and then spit out the medicine. Do not rinse with water and avoid choking. Do not use more than the maximum amount stated. Children between 6 and 12 years of age should only use Chlorhexamed Fluid 0.1% after consulting a doctor or pharmacist. Chlorhexamed Fluid 0.1% must not be used in children under 6 years of age.
Good to know:
By moving the solution back and forth in your mouth, most of the oral mucosa comes into contact with the active ingredient. In this way, harmful bacteria can be attacked over a large area. Other formulation than Chlorhexamed FORTE alcohol-free 0.2%, including 7.2% alcohol by volume.
The antibacterial active ingredient chlorhexidine:
The proven active ingredient chlorhexidine bis (D-gluconate), abbreviated chlorhexidine, is a well-researched antibacterial active ingredient that is often used in the area of the oral cavity. In Germany, chlorhexidine has been used in this area for 40 years. Chlorhexidine has a killing effect (it kills bacteria), defensive action (reduces the adhesion of bacteria by forming a protective film on teeth, gums and oral mucosa), persistent action (protects teeth from excessive plaque formation for up to 12 hours)
Ingredients
The active ingredient is Chlorhexidinebis(D-gluconate). 100 ml of solution contains 0.1 g of chlorhexidine bis(D-gluconate). The other ingredients are ethanol 96%, glycerol, macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate (Ph.Eur.), anethole, clove oil, levomenthol, cinnamon oil, Ponceau 4R (E 124) and purified water.
