Boswellia or incense tree is a deciduous tree from India with ash-gray bark and peels. The resin (glue) of the plant is used to make incense. The glue contains several triterpene acids, known as boswellic acids, which are thought to have anti-inflammatory effects. Boswellia is recommended for pain and stiffness in the joints - a miracle herb for the joints!
