eye drops with 0.3% sodium hyaluronate.

Description:
BLUpan medium OSD eye drops form a sterile, preservative-free, viscoelastic, clear protective film for the cornea. BLUpan medium OSD contains sodium hyaluronate, the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, which, due to its special physical properties, forms a uniform, stable, and particularly long-lasting protective film on the cornea without impairing vision. BLUpan medium OSD thus provides long-lasting relief from symptoms associated with:

• mechanical stress, e.g. when wearing hard or soft contact lenses or during diagnostic procedures on the eye,
• Environmental stress, e.g. from air conditioning, wind, cold, dryness or air pollution, e.g. from cigarette smoke or
• for strained eyes, e.g. when working on computer screens, microscopes or during long car journeys.

Because they are preservative-free, BLUpan medium OSD is particularly well tolerated even with long-term use. BLUpan medium OSD is also suitable for contact lens wearers. Contact lenses do not need to be removed when using the eye drops.

Directions:
To open the bottle, remove the safety ring by pulling on the pre-formed tab until it is completely removed. Then lift the cap up. Tilt your head back slightly, look up, and gently pull the lower eyelid away from your eye. Hold the bottle with the dropper opening facing down and, using firm, sustained pressure, inject one drop into the conjunctival sac 3-5 times a day. Close your eyes slowly so that the liquid can spread evenly over the surface of the eye. Avoid touching the dropper opening with your eye or your hands. Any drop remaining at the dropper opening should be removed by gently tapping the bottom of the bottle. Now replace the cap on the bottle. If symptoms worsen or if no improvement occurs, consult your ophthalmologist. The vial's special sterile air filtration system requires that you wait a few seconds without applying pressure to the vial after each withdrawal to allow sufficient air to flow in. Without this waiting time, further withdrawal is difficult. Additionally, for physical reasons, this requires slightly more pressure as the vial becomes increasingly empty.

Composition:
1 ml contains: Sodium hyaluronate 0.3%, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, citric acid, water for injections.

Precautions and warnings:

• Do not use if the bottle or seal is damaged.
• Do not touch the eye with the dropper opening of the bottle.
• Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
• If you are also using other eye drops/ointments, leave a 15-minute gap between applications. BLUpan medium OSD should always be administered last.
• Do not use on infected or injured eyes.
• After use, visual acuity may be temporarily reduced. In this case, do not drive or operate machinery and wait until normal visual acuity returns.
• Do not use the eye drops after the expiration date, which is printed on the label and carton.
• Do not use the product for longer than 180 days after first opening the bottle.
• Due to the special innovative sterile filter system of the dropper insert, a small amount always remains in the bottle.

Storage:
Store between 2°C and 25°C. Protect from frost. Replace the cap on the bottle after use. Store the bottle in the original carton, protected from light.
