BIOTRUE All in one solution
Care, cleaning, protein removal, disinfection, rinsing, storage.
Directions:
For daily care, cleaning, disinfection, and protein removal, follow these simple steps. This daily routine is recommended by Bausch + Lomb to make wearing your contact lenses as gentle and comfortable as possible:
STEP 1: Apply at least 3 drops of Biotrue™ All-in-one solution to both sides of the contact lens surface and rub gently for 20 seconds.
STEP 2: Rinse both sides of the contact lens thoroughly with Biotrue™ All-in-one Solution for 5 seconds.
STEP 3: Place clean contact lenses in the contact lens case and fill with fresh Biotrue™ All-in-one Solution. Leave for at least 4 hours. Always use fresh solution. Discard the solution from the contact lens case after each use. Your contact lenses are now ready to wear. If any residue remains on the contact lenses, rinse them with Biotrue™ All-in-one Solution before putting them on. Always follow your eye care professional's instructions. Based on your individual tear composition, your eye care professional may recommend additional products and procedures. If you are not wearing your contact lenses immediately, store them in a sealed contact lens case. Do not store your contact lenses in plain saline solution as a substitute for Biotrue™ All-in-one Solution. Saline solution does not disinfect. If contact lenses are stored for extended periods, they must be cleaned and disinfected with fresh Biotrue™ All-in-one solution before wearing.
Contents:
Sterile, isotonic solution containing hyaluronate, sulfobetaine, poloxamine, boric acid, sodium borate, disodium edetate, and sodium chloride, preserved with a dual disinfection system (polyaminopropyl biguanide 0.00013% and polyquaternium 0.0001%)
How it works:
When used daily, Biotrue™ All-in-One Solution dissolves proteins and cleans, loosens, and removes film, residue, and deposits from soft contact lenses. Biotrue™ All-in-One Solution helps prevent the formation of irritating deposits on the contact lens surface. It kills harmful microorganisms on the contact lens. While you store your contact lenses, the formula encloses the contact lens in a moist cushion, helping to keep them comfortable all day. Biotrue™ All-in-One Solution can also be used for contact lens rinsing.
Benefits of Biotrue:
Inspired by the nature of your eyes™. Biotrue™ All-in-one Solution contains a lubricant that is also found in your eyes. It also has a neutral pH, matching that of healthy tears. Biotrue™ All-in-one Solution cushions and rehydrates contact lenses for a comfortable fit. The solution helps prevent the denaturation of certain tear proteins, keeping contact lenses clean and preventing deposits. Such deposits cause discomfort and shorten contact lens wear time. By keeping contact lenses moist and clean, Biotrue™ All-in-one Solution ensures comfortable wear all day long. Biotrue™. One solution – in harmony with the biology of your eyes.
Indications (application):
Biotrue™ All-in-one Solution is indicated for daily care, cleaning, removal of protein deposits, rinsing, chemical (not heat) disinfection and storage of soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses and silicone hydrogel contact lenses, as recommended by your eye care professional.
Contraindications (do not use):
If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this product, please do not use.
WARNINGS: PROBLEMS WITH CONTACT LENSES AND CONTACT LENS CARE PRODUCTS CAN LEAD TO CORNEAL INFECTION, REDNESS, AND VISION LOSS.
It is very important that you follow the instructions from your eye care professional and on the label regarding the proper use of contact lenses, care products, and contact lens case. Eye problems, including inflammation, can occur and lead to vision loss. Daily wear contact lenses are not indicated for overnight wear and should not be worn while sleeping. Clinical studies have shown that the risk of serious side effects is increased when these contact lenses are worn overnight. Extended-wear contact lenses should be removed, cleaned and disinfected, or disposed of and replaced regularly. The schedule for this will be determined by your eye care professional. Clinical studies have shown that the likelihood of serious side effects is increased in extended-wear contact lens wearers compared to daily wear contact lens wearers. Studies have also shown that the risk of serious side effects increases the longer the extended-wear contact lenses are worn before they are stopped for cleaning and disinfection or disposed of and replaced. Side effects have also been shown to occur more frequently in smokers. If you experience discomfort, excessive tearing, changes in vision, or redness of the eyes, remove your contact lenses immediately and consult your eye care professional. It is recommended that you see your eye doctor twice a year, or more often if directed. You should always follow the rubbing and rinsing times indicated on the product label to adequately disinfect your contact lenses and reduce the risk of contamination. If the rubbing and/or rinsing times are too short, your contact lenses may not be adequately cleaned. Fill your contact lens case with fresh solution each time you add your contact lenses. Never just add solution and reuse it. Dispose of the solution immediately after removing your contact lenses from the case. Never expose your contact lenses to water or store them in water. Also, do not use any solution to rinse your contact lens case, whether it's tap, bottled, or distilled water. Do not use any other non-sterile solutions. Clean, rinse, and air-dry your contact lens case every time you remove your lenses. Remove excess solution by turning the contact lens case upside down while it air-dries. Change your contact lens case regularly.
Failure to dispose of the solution from the contact lens case after each use or using water to care for contact lenses can lead to contamination, which can cause eye injury and potentially loss of vision. Please refer to the enclosed instructions for further important safety information.
Important safety information:
• Always follow the instructions for use. Failure to follow these instructions may result in vision loss.
• Visit your contact lens specialist regularly.
• Always wash and dry your hands before putting on your contact lenses.
• Do not use tap water, bottled water, or saliva on your contact lenses or contact lens case.

• Do not use heat disinfection (thermal disinfection).
Precautions:
• Be sure to dispose of the solution in the contact lens case after each use.
• Close bottle tightly when not in use.

Side effects (problems and measures):
The following problems may occur: stinging, burning or itching (irritation) in the eyes, less comfortable than when first worn, feeling as if there is something in the eye (foreign body, scratched area), excessive tearing in the eye, unusual eye discharge, redness of the eye, impaired visual acuity, blurred vision, rainbows or halos around objects, sensitivity to light (photophobia) or dry eyes.
If one of these problems occurs:
Remove your contact lenses immediately.
• If the discomfort or problem disappears, take a closer look at the contact lens.
• If the contact lens is damaged in any way, do not put it back in. Place the contact lens in the contact lens case and contact your eye care professional.
• If there is dirt, an eyelash or a foreign object on the contact lens, or if the problem disappears and the contact lens is not damaged, clean, rinse and disinfect the contact lens thoroughly and then put it back on.
• If the problem persists, remove the contact lens immediately and contact your eye care professional.
Appropriate hygiene when caring for contact lenses :
• Always wash your hands thoroughly before handling your contact lenses.
• Clean, rinse and disinfect your contact lenses every time you remove them.
