Bilobil forte is used


to improve cognitive abilities in the elderly (age-related) and improve quality of life in mild dementia. Bilobil forte contains a quantified



extract


of ginkgo biloba leaves, which improves the supply of oxygen and glucose to the brain. The extract's active ingredients, flavonoid glycosides, ginkgolides, and bilobalide, dilate blood vessels, improve blood flow, prevent platelet aggregation, and, by regulating metabolism, protect cells and tissues from damage caused by oxygen deprivation.



Dosage:


The recommended daily dose for adults and the elderly is 3 Bilobil forte capsules once daily. The tablets should be swallowed with water. Treatment should last at least 8 weeks. If there is no improvement after 3 months of use, or if symptoms worsen, a doctor should be consulted to determine whether continued treatment is warranted. This medicinal product should not be used in children and adolescents.
