Junior Goat Milk 3 is a dietary food for special medical purposes for children from 12 months of age. It does not contain palm oil, fish oil, or soy. A review of evidence from nine studies also found that the use of palm olein (the liquid component of palm oil) in infant formulas may have adverse effects, including reduced intestinal fat and calcium absorption. The use of palm oil may not be ethical, especially since it may promote the massive deforestation of native forests in areas where oil palm is grown.
Indications
: For children from 12 months of age.
Contains
plant-based DHA. DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) – an omega-3 fatty acid obtained from marine algae oil. While most people believe that fish produce their own omega-3 fatty acids, it is actually the algae in their diet that make them a rich source of these acids. This fish oil alternative comes from renewable and sustainable sources, so switching to it helps protect the world's precious seafood resources.
It's made from full-fat goat milk. One of the great benefits of goat milk is that, compared to cow's milk, it contains up to six times more prebiotic oligosaccharides, as well as HMOs (Human Milk Oligosaccharides), oligosaccharides from breast milk that, among other things, feed probiotic bacteria.
