Axotonil MAX ear spray 0.44 g/ml 10 ml

Axotonil Max is a medicinal product containing as much as 440 mg/mL (approx. 405 mg/g) of active substance choline salicylate. Ear spray indicated for use in adults:
- for inflammation of the external auditory canal manifested by pain, itching, redness,
- to soften hardened earwax (earwax plug) before rinsing the external auditory canal.
Choline salicylate is a substance commonly used in medicine for inflammation of the external auditory canal. The convenient form of an applicator with a spray pump enables precise use of the product.

Dosage

Adults:
• For short-term, local treatment of symptomatic inflammation of the external auditory canal: usually 1 dose into the external auditory canal every 6 to 8 hours for no longer than 3 days.
• To soften hardened earwax before rinsing the external auditory canal: usually 1 dose into the external auditory canal every 12 hours for 4 days.
Children and adolescents - This medicinal product is not intended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
Elderly. No dose adjustment is necessary. People with hepatic and/or renal impairment Renal and/or hepatic impairment does not constitute a contraindication to the use of the medicinal product, as this medicinal product is applied locally and does not have systemic effects. No dosage adjustment is required in patients with renal and/or hepatic impairment.

Active substance:

1 ml of solution contains 440 mg of choline salicylate (Cholini salicylas).
Excipient with known effect: ethanol.
1 ml of solution contains 131.8 mg of ethanol.
0.05 mL of solution contains 6.59 mg of ethanol.

Indications

Axotonil Max is indicated for use in adults:
- in inflammation of the external auditory canal manifested by pain, itching, redness,
- to soften hardened earwax (earwax plug), before rinsing the external auditory canal.
