Aurum comp., Unguentum, ointment. Indications: According to anthroposophical understanding of humanity and nature. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: INFORMATION FOR THE USER

Aurum comp., Unguentum, ointment

Composition:
10 g contains: Aurum metallicum Trit. D3 0.1 g, Myrrha 0.1 g, Olibanum 0.1 g. Other ingredients: Refined peanut oil, white petrolatum, purified water, wool wax. Contains peanut oil and wool wax.

Indications:
According to anthroposophical understanding of humanity and nature. These include: Harmonization and stabilization of the human body's structural components in cases of chronic degenerative and traumatic damage to the central nervous system, as well as for the aftercare of inflammatory brain diseases, mental illnesses, developmental and behavioral disorders, and functional cardiovascular disorders.

Contraindications:
Aurum comp., Unguentum should not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to:

• Gold or one of the other active ingredients.
• Peanut or soy or any of the other ingredients.

Precautions for use and warnings:
Lanolin may cause localized skin irritation (e.g., contact dermatitis).

Dosage and method of administration:
Unless otherwise prescribed:

• Children under 6 years of age: Apply a strip of ointment of approximately 0.5 cm to the heart area 1 to 2 times a day or apply a strip of ointment of approximately 1 cm on a cotton cloth about the size of the palm of your hand and place this on the heart area.
• Children from 6 to under 12 years: Apply a strip of ointment of approximately 1 cm to the heart area 1 to 2 times daily or apply a strip of ointment approximately 2.5 cm long to a cotton cloth about the size of the palm of your hand and place this on the heart area.
• Adults and children over 12 years: Apply a strip of ointment of approximately 2 cm to the heart area 1 to 2 times daily or apply a strip of ointment approximately 5 cm long to a cotton cloth the size of your palm and place this in the heart area.

Note:
Do not apply the ointment to the eye or mucous membranes.

Duration of use:
The ointment is usually used for about 8 weeks. Depending on the response to treatment, the doctor or therapist should decide whether to interrupt or continue therapy. There is no indication that the duration of treatment should be restricted. The duration of treatment for chronic illnesses requires consultation with the doctor.

Side effects:
Peanut oil can rarely cause severe allergic reactions. Very rarely, a temporary worsening of symptoms has been observed after the use of Aurum comp., Unguentum in postencephalitic hyperactivity. This was usually followed by a significant improvement.
