ARTERIA CORONARIA GL D 6 ampoules are used to treat certain types of chest pain, known as angina, by dilating blood vessels and improving blood flow to the heart. They contain a form of nitroglycerin, which works by converting to nitric oxide (NO). NO then relaxes the smooth muscles in blood vessels, leading to vasodilation. This helps to relieve chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart. 
Specifically, these ampoules are indicated for: 
Vasospastic angina: Angina that occurs due to spasms in the coronary arteries, which reduce blood flow to the heart.
Rest angina: Angina that occurs even when the heart is at rest.
Diurnal variation in angina: Angina that changes in severity throughout the day.
Angina that is not responsive to other medications: Angina that doesn't respond to traditional angina treatments.
The medication works by: 
Converting to nitric oxide: Nitroglycerin in the ampoules converts to nitric oxide (NO).
Relaxing blood vessels: NO causes the smooth muscles in the blood vessels to relax and widen, improving blood flow.
Reducing chest pain: The increased blood flow to the heart relieves the chest pain associated with angina.
Important Considerations:
Nitrates are not a long-term solution:
They are used to relieve the pain of an angina attack and may not be suitable for long-term treatment of angina.

Contraindications:

• Liquid dilution for injection D5, D6: This medicine should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the donor animal protein.
• Liquid dilution for injection from D8: None known.

Precautions for use and warnings:
There is no adequately documented experience with the use of this medicine in children. It should therefore only be used in children under 12 years of age after consulting a doctor.
