APTEO Ambroxol Syrup 15 mg/5 ml 100 ml

Ambroxol hydrochloride, the active substance of Ambroxol APTEO MED, increases the secretion of mucus in the respiratory tract, which facilitates expectoration and relieves cough.

Indications

Ambroxol APTEO MED syrup is indicated for use in acute and chronic respiratory diseases associated with the accumulation of sticky, mucous secretions and difficulty in expectoration.

Dosage

This medicine should always be used exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
The syrup should be taken orally, during meals. This medicine should not be used for longer than 4 to 5 days without consulting your doctor. Use in adults and children over 12 years of age.
Treatment of acute diseases or initial treatment of chronic diseases should be started with a dose of 60 mg (20 ml of syrup) twice daily for the first 2 to 3 days, and then the dose can be reduced by half - to 30 mg (10 ml) twice daily.

Use in children

From 6 to 12 years of age - 5 ml 2 to 3 times daily.
From 2 to 6 years of age - 2.5 ml 3 times daily.
From 1 to 2 years of age - 2.5 ml 2 times daily.
In the first year of life - the drug is not recommended.
Do not use the drug in children without consulting a doctor.
