Amino Acid Complex Capsules

Amino acids are the precursors of many biologically active substances and form structural proteins (collagen, elastin, keratin).

Amino acid complex contains all eight essential amino acids L-isoleucine, L-leucine, L-lysine, L-methionine, L-phenylalanine, L-threonine, L-tryptophan and L-valine. These are needed for protein synthesis, i.e. for maintaining and building body mass, and they can also serve as an energy source for the body. They are important for the formation of hormones, antibodies and enzymes.

  • L-lysine, for example, is a component of collagen and ensures the formation of bones, tendons and blood vessels, the strength of fingernails and toenails, firm skin and shiny hair.

  • L-methionine is the main source of sulfur in the human diet and contributes to the formation of neurotransmitters and nucleic acids. Methionine is therefore involved in many bodily functions.

  • L-phenylalanine is important for the synthesis of the hormones adrenaline and thyroxine. The pigment melanin in skin and hair is also formed from L-phenylalanine.

  • L-threonine is needed in the immune system for the formation of immunoglobulins and antibodies.

  • L-Thrytophan is a precursor for the formation of the important neurotransmitter serotonin.
