• The medicine is an oral solution.
• It is taken with or without meals using the enclosed dosing aid.
• Please clean the dosing aid after use by rinsing it with warm water.

• Always take this medicine exactly as described or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The recommended dose is:
  • Children up to 2 years of age: only on doctor's order
    • Two doses of 2.5 ml of solution are taken twice daily (corresponding to 15 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).
  • Children aged 2 to 5 years:
    • The solution is taken 3 times daily in a dose of 2.5 ml (corresponding to 22.5 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).
  • Children aged 6 to 12 years:
    • The solution is taken 2-3 times daily in 5 ml doses (corresponding to 30-45 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).
  • Adults and young people aged 12 and over:
    • As a rule, 10 ml of solution (corresponding to 90 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day) is taken 3 times a day for the first 2-3 days, after which 10 ml of solution (corresponding to 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day) is taken 2 times a day.
    • For adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over, the effectiveness may be increased by administering 20 ml of solution twice daily (corresponding to 120 mg ambroxol hydrochloride/day).
    • For adolescents aged 12 and over and adults, it is recommended to take the higher dose of cough syrup with 30 mg/5 ml.

• Duration of application
  • If your condition worsens or if there is no improvement after 4-5 days, you should consult a doctor.
  • Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you feel that the effect is too strong or too weak.

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should
  • No specific symptoms of an overdose have been reported to date. The symptoms observed in cases of accidental overdose or medication mix-up are consistent with the side effects that can occur at the recommended dosage. Please consult a doctor in case of an overdose, as treatment of the symptoms may be necessary.

• If you forgot to take it
  • If you forget to take this medicine, or take too little, please continue taking the medicine at the next scheduled time, as described in the dosage instructions.

• If you stop taking
  • If treatment is stopped prematurely, the symptoms may worsen.

• The preparation is a medicine for loosening mucus in respiratory diseases with thick mucus (expectorant).
• It is used for mucolytic treatment in acute and chronic diseases of the bronchi and lungs with thick mucus.

How does the active ingredient in the medication work?

The active ingredient loosens stubborn mucus in the airways. The thick mucus becomes thinner and less sticky, reducing its adhesion to the bronchial lining. This reduces congestion and makes coughing easier.
When applied locally, the active ingredient can numb the surface of mucous membranes, thus providing temporary relief from symptoms such as a sore throat.
