Fangotherm® compresses are the only ready-made compresses made with pure natural fango. The finely powdered Eifel fango is filled into a slightly permeable, multi-chamber cotton bag. This ensures the desired material contact between the compress and the skin.
Fangotherm compresses are:

Composition:
Fangotherm® compresses contain 100% natural fango. The fango used is a pure mineral peloid extracted from open-cast mines and then ground into a fine powder. No other additives are added. The pH value is neutral to slightly alkaline and thus within a physiologically acceptable range. The compress's outer layer is made of 100% cotton, while the outer layer is made of a waterproof coated nonwoven fabric.

Areas of application:
Hot application is recommended for the following conditions:

• Chronic rheumatic diseases of the joints and spine
• Post-acute conditions following injuries to the musculoskeletal system (strains, bruises, sprains, bone fractures)
• Painful tension in the back and
• Shoulder girdle sciatica
• Neuralgia (nerve pain)
• Chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal and urogenital tract, especially cramps

Cold application is recommended for the following conditions:

• Acute joint rheumatism
• Acute conditions following injuries to the musculoskeletal system
• Supporting therapy for acute inflammation of the gastrointestinal and urogenital tract
• Supporting therapy for purulent phlebitis (thrombophlebitis) and inflammatory diseases of the lymphatic system (lymphangitis)
• Supporting therapy to reduce fever
• Gout attacks
